As People of Hope, part of our mission is to explore and grow in a loving relationship with God. One of the key ways we do this is through Learning Time and Youth Ministries.

This year is going to be another great year for our young people who will be growing in their faith and exploring life as one of God’s growing disciples.

Caring and dedicated teachers and mentors will guide kids and youth through stories of the Bible and help them to make these stories relevant in their own lives. We will also have music, crafts and service days that will engage kids in the Bible stories and help them live their faith. From time to time we will be asking for parent participation

Learning Time for Middle School and High School youth will learn to apply faith practices in their own lives, and explore the questions that are relevant to them in their experience of God and the world as young people.

Come and see if you if this might be for you!

The BeFriender Ministry program has been active at People of Hope for over 10 years and has offered a listening presence to many people during that time.  BeFrienders provide pastoral care for people in all kinds of difficult or transitional situations. They are trained lay volunteers who extend the care of our faith community.

A BeFriender is someone who:

  • Listens with compassion.
  • Accepts people as they are.
  • Respects another's spiritual journey.
  • Embodies the caring presence of God.

Buy a Bag and Save a Tree

Our EARTH Team (Ecology And Religion Together Here) has designed beautiful, durable, purple cloth bags that you can use for shopping. The bags cost $5.57 each to make and we're asking for a donation of $5.50!

We encourage you to buy as many bags as you usually use in the grocery store and use them for all of your shopping. They'd make great Christmas presents! You can purchase these bags by contacting the office or they will be available for purchase in the Gathering Area between and after services on Sunday.
